![]() ![]() I've pretty much stopped making playlists because I know any new playlist I create or edit is just going to revert back eliminating all the work I had? Maybe I am the only one with this issue, I feel like I should have stuck with Big Sur.And today I'm looking for a day to "automate" the play music in background or hidden (to avoid open the application and click PLAY). and then The old playlists which I had deleted in Apple Music kept reappearing, each day I would delete them and the next day they would show up in my Apple Music? Honestly Im sorry I feel like I'm rambling, I know this is a "first word problem" but I've never been so frustrated with Apple before. Then even thoughs playlists stopped updating to my phone. I thought again maybe that was the problem so I deleted the old playlists and continued using and editing the new ones which I had created with new titles. So again I was completely frustrated I thought maybe the playlists were possibly compromised so I copied and pasted all the songs from one playlist and created a new playlist with a new title thinking this might solve the issue? It did for a day or two where when I edited them on my computer they showed up on my phone as they should. But then when I would go back to that playlist it would revert to the original 10 song playlist? All the songs I had added disappeared and songs that were rearranged reverted back to the original playlist which was created right after I installed Monterey for the first time. As an example if the original playlist had 10 songs and say I added 10 more songs and rearranged and edited the playlist, everything would be fine for a few hours. ![]() But then about a week after I upgraded I ran into another issue, all the playlists I had created after I originally installed Monterey started reverting back to the original playlist. I was ecstatic I thought the issue was solved. Then I upgraded to Monterey again which seemed to solve the issue, everything was working good and my Apple Music was updating on my phone when I created a playlist on my computer. So nothing you suggested seem to resolve the issue so I decided to remove Monterey and re-install Big Sur. ![]() It sounds like something is needing refreshed on my phone, but I have no clue as to what. I can be on cellular data away from home and access online music that is not in my library I am able to access all other Apple Music content like the "for you" content. ![]() Here are some other things to know about Apple Music on my phone: Yet after logging back in, they are still loading as a current playlist on my phone. The way I know this is that I had made some playlists on my Mac, that are now gone from the from the library update. I logged in again and it still has not syncing. So this morning I totally logged out of Apple Music on my phone. It is syncing just fine on my Apple TV (as it always has), but my phone is still not syncing. I totally removed my library on my Mac, I made a new library and re-imported songs and it is working as it should on my Mac. So I started playing around with things and long story short. I also noticed that if I listened to a song on my phone, it did not register on my Mac that it had been listened to. I started noticing with a smart playlist that I had cleared out on my Mac, that things were not updating on my phone as this happened. However, I can not get it to sync correctly on my iPhone anymore. I use it on my MacBook Pro, Apple TV and iPhone. Apple Music not syncing correctly on iPhone I have a subscription to Apple Music. ![]()
